Whether you enjoy the challenge of guessing how much an item is actually worth or just enjoy watching people panic on TV, The Price is Right is one of America’s favorite game shows. The show has been running for almost half a century, since 1972, and people are still loving it today as they did when it first aired!

But while you might think that the cherished show is all fun and games, there have been some pretty crazy moments over the years. From an awesome “Come on, down!” crowd surf to seeing Snoop Dogg’s dropping it like it’s hot during Plinko, these are some of the wackiest things that ever happened on this show.

Where’s Patricia?

On game shows like The Price is Right, it’s super exhilarating when you get chosen to participate in said game. So, you would never miss out on all the excitement and fun just in case you get called down to compete, right?

Well, that wasn’t the case with Patricia Bernard when the marvelous original host Bob Barker called her down to come and play because she was nowhere to be found.

Where’s Patricia?

Eventually it came to light that she was “in the little girl’s room”. Whoops! It looks like Patricia might’ve gotten a little too excited and couldn’t hold it in any longer.

Drop It Like It’s Hot

Who doesn’t love a celebrity guest star on a game show?

Game show contestant, Darlene, had a real partner in crime when it came to Plinko—the one and only Snoop D-O-Double G!

Not only was he spot-on with all of his price guessing, but Snoop Dogg knew exactly where she needed to drop it like it’s hot when dropping her chips. The dynamic duo won $12,500 for Darlene. How wild!

Drop It Like It’s Hot

Overall on that episode, the superstar celeb showed his true skills and helped out multiple contestants, and won more than $70,000 which was donated to his Youth Football League.

Yeah, Science!

Most of us all know, love, and feel for Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) from the incredible edge-on-your-seat series, Breaking Bad. But this wasn’t Aaron Paul’s first rodeo on TV.

In fact, one of his very first appearances on TV took place back in the late ‘90s. And soon after, the young and enthusiastic soon-to-be-famous actor was a selected contestant on The Price is Right in 2000. He was so pumped throughout his entire time on the show; as if he was back in the lab cookin’ with Walter White—yeah, science!

Yeah, Science!

Unfortunately though, Paul overbid on a sportscar by $132, and had one of the most heartbreaking losses the show has ever seen.

A Happy Accident

Depending on your job, sometimes when you mess up at work, you’re lucky enough to catch it and fix it before anybody notices. But that’s not really the case when it comes to TV—especially game shows like The Price is Right.

Not only did six-year The Price is Right model, Manuela Arbelaez, accidentally reveal the winning price tag during a contestant’s guessing challenge, but it was captured on camera for all to see! And thanks to this “lucky” mistake, Andrea the contestant, got to walk away with a brand-new Hyundai Sonata SE!

Arbelaez’s instant reaction was to hide behind the game board with tears in her eyes, but at the end of the day, she was forgiven, and the show’s crew was incredibly understanding and supportive. We’re all human, after all.

A Happy Accident

Plus, who could get upset over a priceless moment on TV?

“We’ll Get You a Brand-New Car”

It’s moments like when model Rachel Reynolds accidentally crash a brand-new Ford Mustang V6 Coupe into the set, that remind us that everyone makes mistakes—even TV celebs. Whoops!

The whole incident was hard to look away from, and even the camera kept cutting to a close-up shot of Reynolds heartbreakingly mouthing the words “Oh no! Oh shoot!”

“We’ll Get You a Brand-New Car”

But to make light of the situation, host Drew Carey nonchalantly told the contestant, “Cameron, we’ll get you a brand-new car, I swear, when you win this one. This is gonna be a damaged-used car, we’ll get you a brand-new car.”

Right On the Nose

Remember that time when former weatherman Terry Kniess guessed his showcase bid 100% correctly, all the way down to the exact dollar amount?

His bid was on a trailer with the value of $23,743, but when Drew revealed that he was “right on the nose” with his bid, even Terry almost fell to the ground with complete shock.

So how did he do it?

The wondrous weathermen later shed light on the fact that he had studied the game for a while and realized that the prizes’ themes repeat themselves.

Right On the Nose

What can we say? It shouldn’t surprise you that a meteorologist would be good at patterns. Right?
