]]>But, have you ever heard of a cat with asthma? Apparently, cat asthma is real, and these cat brothers are helping raise awareness for this complication.
Leeno and Poncha are two cats who, despite looking relatively healthy, actually suffer from something that a lot of humans have – asthma. And, just like with humans, these cats need inhalers to treat their rare condition.
Together, along with their owner, Katja Krause, the two are helping raise awareness of the rare condition. This has been met with positive responses so far, with the cats’ Instagram page getting over 22k followers.
The owner is currently trying to raise money through a GoFundMe page to help fund both cats’ ongoing treatment, which can be quite costly given how special their case is. Scroll down below to see just how adorable these cat brothers are and how unfortunate their situation is.

]]>It’s generally safe for felines to drink from saltwater pools, which contain around 1/10th of the seawater salt. If they do drink a little bit of water directly from the sea, nothing bad will happen. Much like people, they can tolerate it pretty well.
However, it’s not safe and in no way recommended for cats to drink any bigger amount of seawater. If that happens, an urgent visit to the vet is due. To prevent cats from drinking seawater, a bowl of fresh water should be placed nearby so they are not tempted when thirst strikes.
