Pack the dog’s area last and unpack their things first in the new home. Try to hide the boxes as much as you can. Take breaks and play with them so they don’t become too anxious. It’s not a bad idea to have someone take care of your dog during the moving day if they’re used to it.
Set up your dog’s bed, toys, and other stuff in the same way as it was in the old home, preferably in a quiet room. Leave the dog there and check on them often. Most dogs will relax after a few days, but some need a little more time. Create a positive atmosphere and play whenever you get the chance to help them relax and adjust.
