]]>Eduardo Serio has been rescuing animals since October 2013. It all began when he rescued a baby black jaguar from a pet store who was planning to drug and use the jaguar as a prop for photos.
Since then, he has worked tirelessly to establish a foundation called The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation which consists of professionals with different expertise including conservation, medicine, law, and philanthropy.
His foundation officially opened to the public in 2015 and over the last few years and it has rescued hundreds of animals from terrible situations. They hope to inspire more people to learn, get involved, and to take action for the conservation of big felines and other animals.
Today, BJWT is one of the largest rescue sanctuaries of big cats with 400 lions, tigers, jaguars, and leopards. It’s also home to other animals including birds, monkeys, dogs, and pigs.
They are growing every day and expanding their habitats as needed. You can help them in their mission by making donations through their official website. You can also check their Instagram account for more updates.
