]]>Tydus is an adorable 5-year-old Alaskan Malamute who garnered more than 160 thousand followed on Instagram thanks to his lovely appearance and impressive stature. Trez, on the other hand, is an African grey parrot and Tydus’ loyal companion. He often has guest appearances on Tydus’ Instagram feed, but you won’t see them posing together that often.
Their owner explained in an interview with Hello Bark that the dog and the parrot are both dominant, which is why their friendship is a bit complicated.
“They don’t really get along that well. Trez is very dominant and won’t think twice about biting one of Tydus’ paws. We always monitor them and would never leave them alone with each other.”
In spite of this, we believe that the boys care about each other more than they’re willing to show.
“Tydus starts howling as soon as he hears an ambulance or whenever he is bored. Trez will then pitch in and say: “Tydus stop it. Good boy!”. Trez comforts him by talking to him while they are alone,” their owner said.
Take a look at some of their lovely photos below.
