“What is the meaning or value of living organisms in modern civilization?” Kim shared on Saatchi Art. “What is the meaning of living organisms to humans? They exist with us in the same environment, but they are always faced as food or decorative elements in a lower hierarchy.”
The artist had exhibitions all over the world, from Brisbane and New York to Seoul. He also shares his work on his Instagram account where he has attracted almost 200 thousand admirers.

From fish trapped in glass bowls to frogs captured in jars, Kim’s paintings are representing a cruel and painful reality. He thinks that modern society is often forgetting about other living organisms, as a result of “advanced development of material civilizations.”
“What is the meaning or value of living organisms in modern civilization? What is the meaning of living organisms to humans? They exist with us in the same environment, but they are always faced as food or decorative elements in a lower hierarchy,” Kim said.
Kim is using minuscule brushes to paint all of the details in these artworks and capture the beauty of animals.
