He is greeted by an amazing lineup of toys that are waiting for him. The pupper checks them all out before grabbing the one he likes. But what’s truly special is how the toys got there.

According to the text in the video, Sampson’s owner places them there for him every morning before heading to work so the dog can have a great start to the day.

“My husband leaves for work early in the morning and leaves our dog his favorite toys lined up on the stairs so he starts his day with a fun surprise, “it says in the clip.

It turned out we were not the only ones touched by this video.

A Shiba Inu named Jack Daniels recently got an opportunity to follow his owner while shopping at Lowe’s, a home improvement retailer. It turned out to be a great day for the dog, as his owner allowed him to pick out a toy for himself.

A reel shared on Jack’s Instagram page shows the dog riding in a shopping cart past a rack of toys. The pupper has his eyes fixated on the toys, prompting his owner to tell him he can pick out a toy. Jack takes some time, giving the toys a good sniff, before settling on a blue fuzzy plush toy and immediately starting to play with it.

“I saw him staring at the toys and let him pick his favorite,” Jack’s owner wrote in the caption of the video.

Other Instagram users applauded the owner for surprising his dog this way while also pointing out that it is not a surprise he went for a blue toy. Dogs have dichromatic vision, meaning they can only differentiate blue and yellow colors. Even if Jack chose the toy just because it was blue, we have no doubts that it was still a great pick.

Even though Grinch is pretty much the same size as Simba, this doesn’t stop the dog from carrying it everywhere he goes. However, after three years of playing, the toy eventually started falling apart and became pretty dirty, so Chau Le wanted to replace it. Little did she now that countless toys won’t be enough to replace Simba’s favorite toy. No matter how beautiful his new toys were, Simba kept looking for Grinch.

Chau Le realized that it’s best to wash and repair Grinch, but she had to do that in front of Simba, so he knows that his buddy will be fine. So far she has had to mend the toy almost 20 times and every time she does it, the dog acts very worried for his friend.

“He sits and whines a little bit when he’s watching the Grinch get repaired. So I have to keep reassuring him that the Grinch will be OK. He searches the house for it when the Grinch is being washed.”
