You should always be careful about the food you feed your cat, especially if it’s human food. With that being said, there are some types of human food that your cat can safely eat. Check them out below.
Cooked Meat and Fish
Your cat can safely eat meat and fish that have been cooked properly. But make sure that you remove all the skin and bones before feeding it to them.
Veggies
Keep in mind that your cat might not like all the veggies you offer to them. They might hate the taste or be unsure about the texture. However, if your cat doesn’t mind nibbling on cucumbers, carrots, or peas, go ahead and give it to them.
Fruit
When it comes to fruit, most of it is good for cats, including bananas, melons, blueberries, and peeled apples. It can be a refreshing treat for them, and they will benefit from fiber and vitamins. Just steer away from citruses, grapes and raisins, as cats don’t handle them very well.
Whole Grains
The felines can eat a wide range of whole grains, including rice, oats, and corn. These are actually good for them as they contain a lot of protein.
Cooked Eggs
Hard-boiled and scrambled eggs can be safely fed to your cat. They might like the taste and will get protein and B vitamins as a bonus.
