True Rescue from Mount Juliet, Tennessee took care of many kittens over the years, but none of them compares to Audio. True Rescue picked a perfect name for this ear-resistible feline, who was born with four ears.
Audio came to the rescue with three other cats, who had all been found abandoned in a box. True Rescue volunteers quickly realized there was something unusual about him, and noticed he had two extra, smaller ears growing under his more prominent, bigger ears.
Kristin Condite, True Rescue’s director of operations, gushed about Audio in an interview with WKRN, adding he was about 8 weeks old when he arrived.
“Whenever we took him out of his carrier, my counterpart said, ‘What’s on his ear?’ And when we looked closer, it appears as if Audio has actually four ears on his head, so he has two right facing and two rear facing. It’s extremely abnormal,” said Condite.
Audio’s unusual ear condition doesn’t seem to be affecting his health, but True Rescue employees are planning to have him fully checked by a vet. He won’t be available for adoption until the vet makes sure he’s in full health, but it certainly won’t take long for this ear-resistible kitty to find a loving home.
