If you’re as obsessed with corgis as we are, it’s about time you met Lucy, one of Instagram’s most corg-tastic stars! This adorable 16-year-old pup is the driving force behind the popular Instagram page Corgi Things, but how did she get there in the first place?
It’s been over a decade since Lucy’s dog mom Connie adopted her in 2013, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Lucy was rescued in 2013, and we’ve recently seen her celebrate her Sweet 16 birthday, reaching a major milestone for a dog of her breed.
Lucy became such a huge sensation on Instagram that Connie started a whole brand around her. Corgi Things is dedicated to spreading happiness in the corgi community, and Lucy is its CCO aka “Chief Corgibutt Officer”.
“Her Mom (Connie) thinks she was originally from Kentucky and likes to call her a little Southern Belle! Lucy enjoys accompanying MawMaw, snoopervising her every move and following her everywhere she goes… She loves snuggling and crossing streets,” read Lucy’s profile on the Corgi Things website.
Corgi Things kept growing over the years, and it now sells everything from corgi-themed mugs and greeting cards to towels and accessories. There was a time when Lucy was the only face behind this brand, but she now shares her home with Ruby, who was rescued after being dumped by the mill.
