Animal Welfare Organization Makes Bad Portraits of Pets For Donations

The Wisconsin Humane Society is an animal welfare organization that recently started an intriguing project that will definitely appeal to those who like animals and art. The organization decided to temporarily become an art service and they offer portraits of pets in exchange for donations. The only catch? The portraits are really bad.

According to The Wisconsin Humane Society’s social media post, they launched this project in order to meet the funding goals necessary for their proper functioning. Unfortunately, as they don’t have in-resident artists, they were forced to rely on their volunteers to make the artworks. And, lots of them can’t actually draw.

Still, the project turned out to be a massive hit, as people absolutely loved the bad but memorable portraits they were getting. As a matter of fact, the response was so big that the organization had to stop taking new requests a few days in.

“You all are truly incredible and surpassed our wildest expectations,” – said The Wisconsin Humane Society in a social media post. “Our artists are working tirelessly to get the masterpieces back to you as soon as possible, though it may take a few days at this point. Thank you all so much for your outpouring of support for the animals!”
