Anna Reikher has been in love with nature for as long as she can remember, and she developed a special appreciation for insects. She decided to channel her love for these curious creatures through her jewelry, which takes the shape of butterflies, moths, and everything in between.
Reikher is a Russian-born jewelry designer currently based in Italy, and her journey as an artist was shaped by many different cultures. She now works from her studio in Milan and blends 3D printing technology with the traditional wax casting technique to bring her creations to life.
Reikher always saw nature as her place of inner peace, so it’s not a shocker most of her creations are inspired by it.
“Her jewelry reflects her experiences and the things she loves, including animals and insects. Anna is fascinated by their beauty, diverse anatomy, and their ability to adapt themselves to new challenges and spend their life in constant movement, reflecting on her life experiences of living and adapting to different cultures,” she explains on her official website.
Reikher explored many different subjects over the years, but she’s now best known for her entomology collection. It features rings, bracelets, and pendants inspired by many different types of insects, from moths and butterflies to wasps and beetles.
