Actor Jason Momoa, known for his roles in HBO’s fantasy hit Game of Thrones and DC’s superhero flick Aquaman, recently shared the exciting news with his social media followers—he adopted a wild pig. Momoa met the animal while filming his new Netflix movie “Slumberland” and couldn’t resist taking it home.

The 43-year-old actor broke the news via a video posted on Instagram in which he introduced the little piggy to the whole world. He also revealed that he is split between the two names for the new family member: Lau Lau and Manapua. Both names are actually Hawaiian dishes that feature pork as their main ingredient.

“This is why I can’t work with animals. I want to bring them home,” wrote Momoa in the caption. “Wild and feral like his pops.”

Momoa later posted a follow-up video in which he revealed that his new pet is called Manapua.

“We can paint your nails pink and put a little top hat on you,” Momoa says to the pig.

A few weeks later, Netflix provided us with an update on Momoa and Manapua’s relationship. The two are seen having the best time of their life, hanging together on a sofa and watching the premiere of Slumberland. At one point, Momoa praises Manapua’s acting skills, so don’t be surprised if you see the two of them joining forces once again on the big screen.
