There is a cat named Ash from Brooklyn, New York, who apparently has ambitions to become a DJ. Judging by a recent video shared by its owner, Josh Feezer, she just might have a shot at it.
The video sees Ash scratching a table fan with its paw to produce a scratching sound in a way DJs produce scratching sounds with vinyl records. The feline seems to be quite good at it, moving the paw up and down and trying to get into rhythm.
However, it turns out that Ash will showcase its DJ skills anytime he feels like it, even when his humans are sleeping.
“This is why we don’t sleep in at our house,” Feezer wrote in the text posted across the clip while adding in the caption: “Ashford Squirrel. Gotta love him.”
We don’t know how Ash discovered his talent, but we assume it was when he went to investigate the table fan. Cats are known to be attracted to all sorts of fans due to the movement of the fan blades and because they remind them of prey. Needless to say, we are eagerly awaiting Ash’s first official gig, and we are sure that everyone who watched this video feels the same.
