TikTok user and pilot Spencer Warren was met with an unexpected scene when he arrived at work the other day; a baby moose went for a dip in a nearby lake and was now unable to get out on the surface.
Warren rushed to help the animal, but this turned out to be a much more challenging task than he had expected. Mama moose was nearby and wasn’t allowing him to approach her baby, thinking he wanted to harm her.
Eventually, the mama moose wandered off to the other side of the parking lot, and Warren managed to get the baby moose out of the water and onto dry land with the help of a police officer.
Warren documented the whole thing on camera and later shared it on TikTok. His clip, which received 4.8 million views, also documents the heartwarming moment of the baby moose being reunited with his mom and sibling.
Warren later shared more details about the story in a couple of follow-up videos. One video shows the moment when the baby moose fell into the lake, while the other one shows him wandering around with his family after being rescued. Check them out below.
