Earlier this month, passengers of a bus in Rio de Janeiro were surprised to see their driver suddenly brings the bus to a halt, but they immediately realized the reason why they’d stopped.
A trapped dog near the center divider was pacing desperately and the driver can’t help but be worried about the lost pup.
The video was taken by one of the passengers showing what happened next. The stray dog had been rescued by the kindness of the driver and she was happy to know that now she’s safe among new friends.
None of the passengers seemed to mind the surprising stop in fact, their response was the exact opposite.
“Thank you, driver!” one of the passengers shouted, while cheers rang out from the rest.
