TikTok user Sheryl Koenig recently experienced quite an unusual situation. Her dad’s cat would somehow manage to get in the house despite being left outside, and all the doors and windows closed.
In order to get to the bottom of the mystery, Koenig set up a hidden camera to record the garage door, thinking someone was leaving them open. She recently shared the footage from the camera in a TikTok video and it is quite unexpected.
The clip starts with the banging sounds on the garage door and the door handle being pulled down from the other side. After several seconds, the door starts to slowly open and a black cat enters the room.
“I guess Dad’s cat figured out the door!,” Koenig wrote in the caption of the video.
The video quickly became viral after being shared back in May and proved to be a suspenseful watch for a lot of social media users.
“But why did they have to open the door all scary movie style?! Got my heart beating!” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.
“I’d be hiding in the closet panicked that it was a ghost,” another added.
