TikTok @__olesya__ recently came back from the store and left a bag with groceries on the floor of her kitchen. Once she got back to put them away, she was met with a surprise scene, courtesy of her cat Blue.
In a video that is making rounds on social media, @__olesya__ explains that she was only gone for a short time, putting her daughter for a nap. Upon returning to the kitchen, she saw that Blue had already gone through the shopping bag, ripped through plastic, and treated itself with a stake. The camera then turns to the feline, who is calmly enjoying her score.
“What’s the worst thing your pet recently did? I’LL GO FIRST,” @__olesya__ wrote in the caption of the video.
After some TikTok users suggested that Blue might just been hungry, @__olesya__ shared that the feline got her meal just 20 minutes before the incident.
The clip also prompted other cat owners to share similar behavior of greedy felines.
“Our cat ate a pound of scallops that I had defrosting on the counter. I was so mad all I could do was laugh,” one TikTok user wrote in the comments section.
“my cat stole a WHOLE rotisserie chicken when he was a kitten .. it was going to be 2 dinners, and he ran under the bed and ate it while growling,” another shared.
