Fiona, also known as Fefe, is a 17-year-old bald Goffin cockatoo who got rescued by her now-mom Eve Butler who was volunteering at a local bird sanctuary. She immediately fell in love. However, at home, she had a hard time convincing her husband to rescue the cockatoo, but in the end, Fefe got her forever home, and a soulmate.
“She loves my husband. He’ll sit on the couch and give her a foot massage. And she loves it. You can just see it in her. She just goes into dreamy land,” Butler shared with The Dodo.
Fefe is so obsessed with her dad that she has to spend every minute with him, otherwise, she will protest!
“If my husband goes outside…she’ll tap on the glass window. If my husband swims around the pool, she’ll walk all the way around the entire pool. She is really obsessed with him. She gets on the raft and he takes her for a little ride. Whatever he’s doing, she wants to be part of that experience,” she added.
