The Aristocats is a Disney movie about a family of aristocratic cats with a mother cat Duchess and her three kittens, Berlioz, Marie, and Toulouse. They live with retired opera diva Madame Adelaide Bonfamille.
Recently, a photo of a cat named Duchess went viral online after having a “real life Aristokittens.” The white cat was adopted by Shelby Sewell-Lopez on July 8, 2018. Shortly after, Duchess gave birth to three kittens and the owner noticed that they looked just like the characters from the movie. Their genders even matched the cartoon, so they decided to name them after the three kittens.
After Sewell-Lopez thought the birth was over, Duchess popped out another kitten – a white male with beautiful blue eyes. They named the “bonus” kitten Blue. Though Blue is not an official Aristocat, the owners considered him as the most affectionate and the most spoiled. But all the cats are healthy and well taken care of.
Their 1st birthday is coming up and the owners are trying to stage an original Aristocat photo shoot. The cats did a rehearsal shoot and they look almost the same as the cartoon characters.
