Italian couple Filippo Lorenzin and Marianna Benetti found a great way to use their time in quarantine due to coronavirus pandemic. They decided to do something nice for their gerbils Pandoro and Tiramisù, and they created a miniature museum for them.
Using paper and cardboard, the couple made an exhibition room in which they placed recreations of some of the most notable works of art, including Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Edvard Munch’s The Scream, and Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss.
During the project, Filippo and Marianna gave updates for their followers on Twitter and shared the progress.
After the museum was ready for the big opening, Pandoro and Tiramisù had the honor to be the first visitors. The gerbils first inspected the artworks and objects in the museum, but were not too impressed, as they quickly went to wreak havoc, ignoring “Please Don’t Chew” sign.
