Traveling with pets isn’t always an easy task, but that didn’t stop Olivia and Dan Nguyen from giving it a shot. The New York City-based couple embarked on many pet-friendly adventures in recent years, overcoming the hurdle of researching airline requirements, buying additional plane tickets, and going through extensive security checks.
The training process started at home, and it involved a lot of treats and gentle petting, but Sponge Cake, Mocha, and Donut were eventually ready to hit the road.
“I think the foundation of the training was actually building trust with the kitties that started at home from day one. When we travel, we continue to give them treats and gentle petting to make them feel safe and comfortable,” Olivia Nguyen told People.
The Nguyens get a lot of laughs and smiles everywhere they go with Sponge Cake, Mocha, and Donut. Their travel itinerary and flawless style would put even the most popular influencers to shame, and it helped them attract 2.5 million followers across TikTok and Instagram.
