Meet Yogi, the one-year-old Shih-tzu dog that has become an internet sensation because of his unusual looks.
When owner Chantal Desjardins shared a picture of Yogi on the internet, people thought it was a face swap app from Instagram or Snapchat. But when you take a closer look, you will realize it’s really the pup’s normal face which looks like a human than a dog.
Chantal told BuzzFeed that she’d never noticed the strange similarity until she shared a photo of her pet on the porch to her Facebook page.
“My friends were freaking out,” she said, noting that the photos of Yogi are “not photoshopped at all.” His humanlike features had gone viral when Chantal’s friend uploaded the photo to Reddit. His brown almond-shaped eyes, strong brow ridge, and soft pinkish lips may be the reasons why the pup gives such an impression.
Seeing Yogi with a normal-looking dog makes the appearance look even more human. Despite the soulful eyes and sad expression, Chantal said that the dog is a “hyper puppy” who “always wants to cuddle and play.”
