One dog owner recently decided to wash some of their pet’s toys in order to donate them to a rescue center. But as it turns out, the dog, a golden retriever named Bailey, wasn’t all that thrilled about it.
In a video shared on Bailey’s TikTok, a camera can be seen going across an assortment of washed toys that have been left to dry. At one moment, the camera catches Bailey watching through the glass door with a disappointed look on its face.
“Someone’s not happy,” Bailey’s owner wrote in the caption of the video.
As it turns out, Bailey had all the reasons not to be happy about what happened, as his human didn’t ask him beforehand and decided to donate the toys on their own.
“Wait, but did you ask him if you can,” one user wrote in the comment section.
“I’m sorry, but I forgot,” Bailey’s owner responded to the comment.
Some users suggested that Bailey could also be sad because the toys that were about to be donated were his favorites. Still, it turns out that parting with old toys could end up working well for him.
“I promise I’ll buy lots of new ones!,” Bailey’s owner shared in one comment.
