Instagram user Katlin Longfield recently shared a hilarious video that shows her husky Kira mistaking bacon displayed on the TV for the real thing. The footage received more than two million likes and left internet users in stitches.
Kira can be seen resting her front paws on the TV cabinet and enthusiastically licking the television screen, which shows a video of sizzling bacon strips being fried. The pupper was so mesmerized with the sight that she seemed like she doesn’t even realized that the bacon is tasteless.
“When you can’t get enough bacon!” Longfield wrote in the caption of the video.
It is safe to say that Instagram users were genuinely entertained by the video. Some of them were wondering how long it was until Kira realized that there was no bacon, while others called for the dog’s owners to give her some real thing.
“When is he gonna realize it’s actually not taste in that bacon?” one person wrote in the comments section.
“If yall don’t get in that kitchen and make this baby some meat,” another added.
While Kira probably finds bacon really appealing, she is better off just licking the TV. Bacon is high in sodium and fat, making it an unhealthy treat for dogs.
