One dog owner recently shared a reel on Instagram in which they compare the differences between humans and dogs looking for attention. The clip quickly spread on social media because of how funny and relatable it was.

The video starts with “When my dog comes to me for attention” examples. In this part, we see a Golden Retriever named Juni enthusiastically running around, jumping in her owner’s bed, and approaching them with toys.

Then, the reel transitions to “When I come to my dog for attention.” Juni is lying on the couch, and her owner puts a hand on her fur, asking for some cuddles. But the dog doesn’t seem to be interested in those please, instead giving her owner a meaningful look before turning her head away.

“Apparently, this relationship only works when Juni wants it to work. The audacity! The sass! The attitude,” Juni’s owner captioned the video, which you can watch by clicking here.

As it turns out, a lot of other Instagram users are having the same problem.

“When my dogs know I’m needy and clingy, they won’t even come to me. They will just give me a stare and just walk past me like they are done with this,” one user wrote.

“That’s my dog as well!” another added.

Honestly, you can’t blame dogs for wanting a break from us from time to time. After all, we are likely the more demanding ones in that relationship.
