Dogs hate to have their nails clipped, but most of them soldier through it without making much fuss. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t hold grudges, as TikTok user Destiny Rayne Bonner recently found out.
Earlier this month, Bonner’s pupper, Gunner, had to get his nails clipped because they got too long. Bonner’s husband took it upon himself to do the job but ended up accidentally cutting the dog’s nails too short. And it is safe to say that Gunner didn’t like it one bit.
In a viral video, which received more than 20 million views, Gunner can be seen sulking about what happened and refusing to even look at Bonner’s husband.
“my husband accidentally clipped one of our dogs nails too short and he was so mad at us,” Bonner wrote in the text placed across the video.
Most TikTok users said in the comments that they perfectly understand why Gunner was so mad and that he had every right to be. A lot of them also recommended making amends by offering him treats.
“Hey, I’m a vet! you need to give him a pup cup. Hope this helps,” one user wrote in the comments section.
“Give him a pup cup and some treats!!! ASAP NOW,” another added.
