Elephants Think Humans Are Cute The Same Way We Think Puppies Are

Last December, there was a popular tweet showing that elephants have a natural affinity and affection toward humans.

College student Julia Hass shared a post on Twitter, writing that “elephants think humans are cute the way humans think puppies are cute (the same part of the brain lights up when they see us) so pack it in, nothing else this pure and good is happening today.”

The internet was amazed by this piece of information and it’s been shared thousands of times by animal lovers around the world.

Though there was no direct study which makes this information valid, Julia said she found evidence to support her claim and there is a lot of evidence proving that these gentle giants are on the top of the animal kingdom for intelligence.

The fact that elephants have a very large and highly complex hippocampus (the part of the brain which is linked to emotion and processing emotional information), it is easier for humans to befriend these huge creatures.
