Dachshunds are a popular dog breed famous for their short legs and long bodies. Each of them is cute, but Eric is currently the most famous Dachshund on Instagram – and the most adorable one if you ask us.
His fur is chocolatey brown and he lives in the U.K. Eric was born two years ago and already has 4,000 friends following his Instagram feed. We just can’t resist his big black eyes and cute, tiny nose!
Thanks to their unique looks, dachshund dogs are also known as weiner dogs. Dachshunds are loyal and great with children, which is why people often have them as pets. However, due to their short legs, they should avoid climbing too many stairs because it can lead to disk problems.
Despite having a small body, dachshunds are courageous and don’t fear opponents, even if they are bigger in size. They were originally bred as hunters so their favorite activities include digging, chasing, and barking.
