Sometimes, though, it’s simply about the chemical imbalance that makes a person prone to anxiety disorders, according to Kasey Brown, a therapist at the Georgia Center for OCD and Anxiety.
Brown argues that anxiety is curable, and so is the fear of dogs. The key is to work slowly, step-by-step until a person is able to live a normal life that’s not dictated by their fear.
