A viral video recently shared on TikTok had social media users chuckling at the cat who befriended a Roomba vacuum cleaner.
In the clip, a cat owner named Laura Elle explains that they believed their Roomba wasn’t working correctly. However, upon further inspection, Elle discovered that her feline was actually preventing the robot vacuum cleaner from doing its job.
The footage in the video shows cat trapping Roomba in a corner of a room and playing with it. She is rubbing against it and kicking it with her paws every time it tried to continue executing its program.
“Lol, she thinks it’s her friend,” Elle wrote in the caption of the video.
The video, which was shared in late April, brought laughs to millions of social media users. However, some of them wondered if the cat was just lonely and needed someone to keep her company.
“The only solution is to get a 2nd cat…she needs a friend,” one TikTok user wrote in the comments section.
But as it turns out, the cat has plenty of friends and just fancies Roomba. Elle shared a follow-up video that shows the cat playing with her sibling while pointing out that her household has three kitties.
