Golden Retrievers can be quite sneaky in order to get what they want. Just take a look at one Goldie named Gracie, who employs an unusual tactic in order to get her human to take a dip in the pool with her.
In a viral video shared by TikToker @itsmethatmom, Gracie can be seen soaking in the pool and looking “pathetic and like she’s shivering and wants to get out,” as her owner puts it. But when Gracie’s human comes and tries to get her out of the pool, the dog simply swims away.
As it turns out, Gracie just acted like she wasn’t enjoying the pool in order for her human to join her. But, with the water being quite cold, her little trick didn’t work out.
Gracie’s sneaky tactic has amused TikTok users, with the video getting 8.2 million and thousands of comments since being shared several days ago.
“She’s like “here, I’ll move, and you get in,” one TikTok user wrote in the comments section.
“please accept her invite to ‘daily dip’,” Google’s official social media account added.
We believe that Gracie won’t have to do her “daily dips” by herself soon, as the weather is getting better and the water in the pool will soon be to her owner’s liking as well.
