Gracie From Maine is a Wolfcat and She Looks Fearless

When Bree from Maine decided to foster two pregnant cat moms, she never thought she would receive a unique gift called Gracie.

If you see the images in the gallery below, you will notice that Gracie is somehow different from other cats. She looks more like a wolf than a kitten. Well, you are right because she is a Lykoi or a so-called Wolfcat.

She was born with a natural genetic mutation that happens among feral cat colonies. The first thing that her owner noticed was her baldness. She was taken to the vet, but surprisingly, everything was fine.

Gracie has only one coat of fur and will molt about every six months. According to her mom, the kitten has sensitive skin, and the coat can be brushed forward and backward.

“My favorite thing about Gracie is when she was a little bald baby, and I loved to kiss her and breath her in,” Bree said in an interview for Bored Panda. “She has a certain smell about her that made me love kissing her. Sometimes I still get a small smell of her old baby scent, and I love it.”
