Cute fuzzy cats are actually a new breed called Selkirk Rex. They originated from a housecat that was found in a Montana shelter in 1987 and a black Persian. They had six kittens and three of them had curls they inherited from their mom.
The Selkirk Rex breed was declared official in 2012. You can see more photos of these adorable creatures below.
