Jay Stowe is a tech recruiter and the owner of the most famous hipster cat on Instagram and beyond. He has worked in several startups in the Bay Area, helping companies with everything related to hiring. But as much as he’s a star in his job, the real star in his life is Hamilton, his famous hipster cat.
Hamilton became insanely popular for only one feature on his face – his “mustache.” Besides a pair of regular feline mustache, he has a white spot on an otherwise gray face shaped like a pair of hipster mustache that was a popular style in the first half of the 2010s. Over the years, Hamilton gained more than 816,000 Instagram followers who love and follow him to this day.
Stowe never thought Hamilton would become such a star. Since he was a feral cat that was raised far from people, it took some time before he felt comfortable enough to get close and cuddle with Stowe. The first photos were meant to be updates for Stowe’s friends about his relationship with his new cat, but things quickly took off.
