Layla Robinson has always been in awe of nature’s beauty, and she found a way to make it everlasting. She’s a floral artist who’s preserving flowers by drying them and transforming them into works of art, in the hope her creations will put a smile on your face.
Robinson works with flowers, foliage, seeds, twigs, and berries in an attempt to breathe a second life into the natural elements of wild beauty. Her pressed and dried flower art and floral sculptures are putting an everlasting twist on the fleeting nature of flowers and preserving them for years to come.
From bouquets and wreaths to lampshades and chandeliers, she can truly make anything with flowers from her own organic garden and surrounding countryside in the charming Welsh town of Hay-on-Wye.
“This magical landscape of myth and legend, wilderness and beauty are what inspires my designs, and is woven together in a little bit of all my work… I aim to continue striving for an ever-improving environment for nature and wildlife to thrive alongside where we grow and live,” she writes on her official website.
Robinson’s work has been shown in several galleries, and she’s also sharing it on her Instagram page, where she’s followed by over 150,000 people.
