Lucas the Dog Recreates Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” Music Video

Taylor Swift created quite a splash with her new album The Tortured Poets Department, and even dogs didn’t stay immune to the buzz surrounding its release. Lucas the Dog went so far as to recreate the music video for the album’s lead single “Fortnight” ft. Post Malone.

Lucas is one of Swift’s biggest canine fans, and his Instagram page became a huge hit with the Swifties. He’s now followed by over 190,000 people on this social media platform, and most of his posts are related to Swift’s music.

Lucas’ followers expected him to do something special once Swift’s new album hit the shelves, and he certainly delivered. He celebrated the release of The Tortured Poets Department by putting his own twist on the “Fortnight” music video.

Lucas’ viral video sees him dressed as both Swift and Post Malone and typing out the song’s lyrics on the typewriter. He’s even wearing a blonde wig reminiscent of Swift’s hair and serving Victorian vibes from the original music video, with a black dress and matching laced gloves.

Lucas’ owner captioned this video by writing, “I look like Taylor Swift in this light, I’m lovin’ it,” which happens to be a reference to “Clara Bow”, the final song on The Tortured Poets Department.
