Meet Bello: The Trilingual Parrot That Sings Opera Music

Thanks to his singing talent, Bello The Amazon became a real internet sensation. He’s a cage-free, potty-trained, trilingual parrot who likes opera a lot, and he also loves his human who adopted him.

“Right when he wakes up, he will fly to my bed and he will, you know, just wait until I wake up and start give him scratches,” Bello’s mom shared on The Dodo. “He sings for 2 to 3 hours a day.”

The adorable duo goes on adventures together, they even went kayaking!

“If I go out somewhere, I don’t like leaving him behind,” she continued. “If we go to the beach, he’s with us. I’ve even taken him kayaking. They’re not just something to be shoved in a cage. No, they need a lot of stimulation, mental stimulation. They’re extremely intelligent, they live up to 60 to 80 years.”
