Laura Anca Adascalitei is an artist who loves raccoons. She is also the creator of Coon Tales, a series of illustrations about her favorite furry friends and their random shenanigans.
She named them George and Steve, and their adventures began two years ago, back in October 2017, as part of Inktober, a month-long art challenge that is focused on improving skill and developing positive drawing habits, and it never ended. Although George and Steve are usually pretty topical with the season, they also love seeing and exploring other places, so they travel a lot, and are interested in art history, as well. They also have a pretty cool pet.
