R&R Ranch is a beautiful animal sanctuary located in Chesterfield, Missouri. It is a safe haven for rescued miniature horses and ponies, dedicated to spreading awareness and education for their proper treatment and care.
The ranch is also home for other animals including dogs, birds, donkeys, a cat, and a bunny. But the most popular resident in the sanctuary is a miniature horse with dwarfism named Martha. She was born with a host of health issues, including twisted front legs. Martha was only 3 months old when she was rescued from a horse breeder last January. She was sick and infested with lice, but with antibiotics, a hoof trim, and tender loving care from humans, she started to get well, and it wasn’t long before her bubbly personality kicked in.
Even though Martha has some physical limitations, it doesn’t hinder her from enjoying her life to the fullest. She loves to play, sprint, and dance around the horse barn. She can even moonwalk like MJ and her video emulating the late pop icon’s signature move became viral. She has captured the hearts of everyone.
With her popularity soaring high, R&R Ranch hopes that this will help them spread public awareness about the proper care of these mini horses. Check out the latest updates about Martha below.
