Meet Mr. B: The Cat That Weights 26 Pounds

BeeJay better known as Mr. B became a huge internet sensation when animal shelter Morris Animal Refuge from Philadelphia introduced him to the world. Besides for his undeniably adorable looks, the cat weighs a hefty 26 pounds.

Well, here goes nothing. 😸 This is the post that sparked it all, both for this family and for lots of people around the world! We saw this Instagram photo four hours after it was posted (this is actually the very screen shot I took when I saw him, and we agreed instantly we loved BeeJay already). Here’s to sharing Mr. B’s story (keeping his name and still calling him BeeJay, too!) We’ve got a long way to go and plenty to share (he’s doing great, btw!) but in the meantime, tag your family and friends below and let all the kiddos out there know that, rest assured, they can get their Mr. B fix right here @chonkymrb. Thank you in advance for all the love and support for BeeJay. We know you’ll love him just as much as we do!

“OMG, big boi Mr. B is a CHONK. He’s a chonk of a chonk. He redefines the term,” Morris Animal Refuge wrote on Twitter. “Can you guess how much he weighs? More importantly, can you give him a home? Adopt this jumbo-sized package of fluff and love. Please RT to help this sad-eyed guy find happiness!”

The people from the shelter thought that Mr. B would struggle to find a forever home, but they actually received so many requests to adopt the feline, that their website crashed. In the end, they found the perfect family for Mr. B.
