Mila the Mustang Horse Was Rescued and Nursed Back to Health

Mila the Mustang was a little baby when she was rescued. She was so skinny that you could see every bone, her entire spine. Fortunately, she was nursed to health by a momma horse who lost her baby. When Mila was healthy enough she got adopted by a beautiful young lady called Macy and her 101-year-old great-grandfather.

“She was so friendly and so sweet. And I just knew immediately that we are going to be best friends for life,” Mila’s mom told The Dodo. Mila definitely has the best personality I have ever seen in a horse. Whenever I come to the ranch she walks right up to the gate and greets me! She is very vocal. She loves to whinny, nicker or squeal.”

They both love to cuddle with each other and jump over things. Macy says that Mila will jump over anything and that she learned to lay down on command, as well.

Now Mila is a beautiful healthy horse living her full life. Scroll down and check out her adventures below.
