Most people wouldn’t consider welcoming a ferret into their home, but one woman from Texas felt like one wasn’t enough. She’s the owner of Moon and Nala, the most adorable ferret duo with thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram.
Moon and Nala were both adopted by their owner in 2022, with just a few months in between. Their owner initially only took care of Moon, but she didn’t want her pet to feel lonely and decided to welcome another ferret into her home about six months later.
Life with two ferrets proved to be quite an adventure, and she couldn’t resist sharing their shenanigans with the world. Whether they’re taking walks or playing in a ball pit, Moon and Nala are always having the time of their lives by each other’s side, and the black cat Kuro also likes joining them from time to time.
Some people avoid keeping ferrets as pets because they’re not always easy to take care of, but Moon and Nala’s owner never had any trouble being around them.
“People always say ferrets are stinky. I’ve never minded the smell of my babies. Keep their home/cage/bedding/pads/litter clean and feed them correctly and you will not have a problem with their smell just like any other animal,” she wrote on Instagram.
