Nubz is a tiny Malaysian Serama chicken from California who was unfortunate to lose most of its toes due to scaly leg mites. This prompted his owner, Meesh Davignon, to give Nubz a pair of shoes so he could walk around more comfortably. Thanks to this, the chicken was able to move around more confidently but also became an internet star.
Back in 2023, Davignon, who adopted the chicken after the previous owner couldn’t take care of him, shared a video on social media showing Nubz walking around in a pair of tiny shoes. The internet absolutely loved it, and people from around the world wanted to contribute to the chicken’s shoe collection.
Soon, Nubz had shoes for every activity and every occasion. And he looks amazing regardless of the pair he’s wearing.
“Probably his favorite pair is his dark blue shoes that look like Ugg boots,” Davignon shared in a recent chat with The Washington Post. “He’s pretty fast in those and seems to really enjoy wearing them.”
According to Davignon, Nubz is very comfortable in his shoes and likes to wear them all the time. She frequently updates Nubz’s social media page with showcases of shoes, and according to the thousands of videos these clips get, the internet absolutely enjoys it.
