Paige Tailyn of Blossom Effect Will Help You & Your Plants Bloom

Paige Tailyn fell in love with plants thanks to her late grandmother, and she couldn’t imagine her life without them. The Blossom Effect founder is using her platform to encourage people of color to nurture both their gardens and themselves, helping them navigate their path to personal growth.

Tailyn owes her love for plants to her late grandmother, who used to grow the most fragrant rose bushes and the most vibrant hibiscus plants. Her love for plants didn’t fade away even after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and Tailyn decided to keep it alive even after she passed away.

The idea for Blossom Effect was born during her time at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she studied mass media arts.

“I made a commitment to create a green space on campus in which students could convene and relax throughout the day. This commitment stuck and people believed in it as I went on to teach more about the importance of plants and gave out Blossom Effect’s first scholarship,” she told Passion Collective.

Tailyn became a huge sensation on Instagram and TikTok, and she’s using the power of social media to celebrate culture and inclusivity through plant education and ownership, encouraging people to use plants as a tool of personal growth and blossoming.
