Photographer Captures Stunning Flight Patterns Of Birds

Barcelona-based freelance photographer Xavi Bou developed an admiration for nature at a very young age, thanks to long walks with his grandfather. He especially admired birds and their elegance, something that carried over even when he became older.

Bou’s admiration for birds ended up inspiring a project titled “Ornitographies,” in which this talented photographer captures the shapes that birds make while flying and combines them into a single frame.

“Ornitographies is a balance between art and science; a nature-based dissemination project and a visual poetry exercise but above all, an invitation to perceive the world with the same curious and innocent look of the child we once were.” – Bou says about his project.
