Tornado, the rescue Pibble loves attention and car rides, so he found the perfect way to let his human parents know that he wanted to sit in the front seat. He began imitating tornado warning sounds.
“I think part of it is that he wants to be up front with us because the second that we let him kind of scoot his way forward, then he stops,” his mom Amanda Gentile told The Dodo. “So a lot of times he’ll shove his head through. He likes to put his head on the driver’s side. He likes to be right there in your ear. Which I think he does it because he knows that’s it loud.”
The Charlotte, North Carolina based canine soon realized that the more he does it, the faster he will be let upfront. Fortunately, his parents got used to it.
“Depending on where we’re going, his noises change. Like, if he knows we’re going to the park it’s a different kind of sound. Even when we go to the vet. So I feel he kind of knows where we’re going and then what sound to make when we’re going there,” Gentile added.
