We all know that pets look a lot like their owners, and let us say to you – this is no myth! Switzerland-based photographer Sebastian Magnani will help us prove that to you today.
33-year-old Magnani already caught our attention with his project called “Reflections” for which he captured the beauty of nature through mirror reflections. Now he’s back with a new project called “Underdogs and Undercats”, a series of eight amazing photos that show striking similarities between humans and their best friends.
“So where does this striking resemblance between dog and owner come from? Does the ‘underdog’ really rank himself lower, even visually? It is undisputed that the canines not only stir emotions and interest but also our innermost needs”, Magnani wrote on his website. “Dogs are considered loyal, selfless, trustworthy, lifesaving, fun and proud companions in a world where these values are gradually disappearing.”
Magnani worked as a creative head in an advertising agency, but he eventually decided to pursue his passion for photography. Scroll down to see his images that travelled across the globe.
