Dogs have the best reactions to things unfamiliar to them. They are at the same time stunned, startled, surprised, and astonished while always making it quite obvious how they feel with movements and facial expressions.
Blogger Jake the Nomad recently shared a video on Instagram that shows the reaction of his pupper Neptune after the dog heard the echo of his bark for the first time. And it is quite an entertaining watch.
Neptune can be seen playing with his owner by the river before playfully barking at one point, which resulted in a loud echo. Upon hearing the echo of his bark, Neptune quickly straightens up and looks across the river to try and determine the source.
The video quickly spread across social media, receiving 456K likes and amusing Instagram users, who used the comments section to make a few jokes and ask for more of Neptune reacting to the echo of his bark.
“Did he and his echo just bark back and forth at each other with no resolution in sight?” one user commented.
“i NEED the video of him barking a second time,” another added.
Jake the Nomad later shared a follow-up video in which she shared more details about Neptune, including that he is a Husky-German Shepard-Retriever mix.
