Getting a cat’s attention is often quite hard, especially if you are not in the same room. You can call it as long as you want, but you will likely be ignored. However, there is one pet owner who found an unusual way to get the attention of their cat every time.
In a video shared on Reddit, user u/lemonaderobot demonstrated how they are able to summon their cat using a harmonica. As soon as they start playing the instrument, a cat can be seen walking up the hallway and entering the room.
As it turns out, the feline is “obsessed” with harmonica and will “emerge” from anywhere in the house as soon as she hears its tunes.

As it turns out, summoning cats with wind instruments is more common than anyone would think. Responding to the post, one user explained that they had witnessed something similar in their own household.
“My husband dabbles with flute playing (Native American flute). Every time he plays, he draws our cats,” u/ AccomplishedEdge982 wrote.
Other Redditors just thought the whole thing was funny and presumed that the cat is simply a huge Bob Dylan fan.
